Hello and welcome from all of us at PSSC!

Established in the early 1970's and surrounded by the great sailing waters of St Austell and Mevagissey Bays, Pentewan Sands Sailing Club has hosted National, European and World championship competitions, for a diverse range of sailboats. We have become established as one of the favorite venues in the UK for all levels of competitive sailing. We hosted the Spint 15 nationals in August 2009 with 60 boats entered.

We could not have earned this reputation without a great bunch of experienced and committed club members who provide race management and safety boat cover to a very high standard. Combine this with a marvelous social atmosphere and you get a winning combination that make Pentewan such a popular racing venue.

We are also proud that PSSC is a recognised RYA teaching establishment and have a valued group of experienced instructors and senior instructors. They work closely with our safety boat crews to provide a safe and enjoyable atmosphere in which people can learn to sail. Next year we are pleased to have a commercial school operating on our site in partnership with us. A link will be posted here to their website when launched. PSSC will continue to provide multihull training and powerboat training to members. Once again we have a full and varied race program for the new season. As well as the normal series of races, the program includes regattas, long distance races and the famous club champion helm competition, something to appeal to every sailor.

Off the water we have an active social calendar that runs through the year.

We continue to work towards the regeneration of the clubhouse and facilities on the beachfront site. In the meantime our existing facilities have had a revamp and are back in active use.

Happy sailing and see you on the water.
