Membership Overview
All of the membership options below are valid from 1st January to 31st December 2026. Becoming a member grants you the use of the facilities at Pentewan Sands Sailing Club including the clubhouse and toilets/showers, parking on the headland and participation in club-organised events on and off the water.
We are always looking for volunteers and the committee are grateful to anyone who can lend a hand in any way they can, be that manning the safety boat, driving the tractor, cutting the grass or hoovering the clubhouse. The club is what the members make it, and we can achieve great things if we all work together.
Family Membership
£165.00 (£135.00 renewal)
For an adult, a spouse/partner and any children in full time education. The two adults included in a family membership have full voting rights within the club. Under 18’s have no voting rights within the club.
Individual Membership
£110.00 (£80.00 renewal)
For one adult aged 18 to 65 (inclusive) with full voting rights within the club.
Senior Membership
£80.00 (£50.00 renewal)
For one adult aged 66 or over with full voting rights within the club.
Social Membership
£55.00
For an adult of any age who would like to be a member of PSSC without storage, vehicle access or voting rights.
Temporary Member
£45.00
For anyone who would like to be a member of PSSC for up to two weeks, including boat storage. No voting rights.
Cadet Membership
£25.00
For anyone aged 17 or under not already covered by a Family Membership. A cadet member has no voting rights within the club.
If you are an existing member, you should have received a renewal code to waive the joining fee. If you did not receive a code, please email members@pentewansailingclub.org.uk. The code is applied on the basket page, so you need to add your membership to the basket first, then apply the discount in the coupon field.
You can pay for your membership by bank transfer, cash or cheque. Our bank details or instructions on how to pay with cash/cheque are shown once you have submitted your application. Your payment is due immediately once you have submitted your application, and your membership will not commence until Pentewan Sands Sailing Club have confirmed receipt of your payment. You will receive an email to tell you when your membership is live.
