Points will be awarded as per the Low Point System in Appendix A of the RYA racing rules of sailing.

• Each boat starting and finishing a race shall be scored points equal to its finishing position.
• A boat that starts a race but does not finish or is disqualified shall be scored points for the finishing place one more than the number of the boats that started the race.
• A boat that does not start a race shall be scored points for the finishing place one more than the number of boats entered in the series.
• A boat helm who would normally have competed in a race but is undertaking OOD or Safety Boat Duties shall be awarded average points for that race based on the number of boats finishing.
• The number of races to count in a series will be one less than the total of races sailed , except that if only 3 races are sailed, all will count. If more than 11 races are sailed two less than the total number will count.
• For the evening series, the number of races to count will be 50% of the total number sailed.
• The boat with the lowest total score wins and the other will be placed accordingly.
