Come and find us in beautiful Pentewan Sands located in picturesque Cornwall.

Your committee are here to help ensure the smooth and safe running of the club. If you would like to help or contribute any way then please contact one of the committee.

A range of membership options to join the club are available, whether you are a serious sailor or prefer to keep your feet dry.

Pentewan Sands Sailing Club PSSC is a not for profit membership club that is affiliated to the RYA. Racing is dominated by catamarans with the largest fleet being the Dart 18. We welcome all sailing craft and have several members with kayaks and windsurfers. Membership will provide you with vehicular access to the beach.

Racing is generally on Sunday with the first race at 11:00am, and on Tuesday evenings when the first race is at 18:00.

We run RYA dinghy and powerboat courses for club members with the emphasis on growing and sustaining the sport and attracting membership to the club, rather than as a commercial activity. All our instructors and assistants are volunteers.

The beach provides a safe launch in all conditions apart from strong east or south east winds when the swell can be large. These conditions convert the beach into one of the best kite surfing locations in the area.

The club is undertaking a regeneration project in conjunction with Pentewan Sands Ltd with the goal to have a new clubhouse and facilities relocated to the front of the dinghy park, where it will overlook the beach. More news on this exciting project in the near future.
