RYA Grant We have just received a grant of £2000 from the RYA which will assist the club to buy a Dart 16 Race X Spinnaker catamaran. This will be used to introduce people to assymetric spinnakers and to run the RYA sailing with spinnakers module. This gives the club a fleet of 3 Dart 16's which will be available for members to book at low cost. This will be an ideal route into the sport without committing to a big outlay on a boat until you are sure it is for you and you have settled on what type of boat you want.
RYA Accreditation Received We are delighted to announce that we are fully accedited as an RYA training centre for the National Youth Scheme - National Dinghy Scheme (incl Multihull) - National Powerboat Scheme - RYA First Aid. We will be offering courses to club members only. At some point this winter there Anna Weld will take over as principal as the commercial school starts. We will continue to offer Multihull courses and powerboat courses to members of PSSC.

Dart 18 Worlds 2010 The Dart 18 World championships are being held at the 2012 Olympic sailing venue in Weymouth from the 21st to 27th August next year. Anyone interested in taking part - contact Michael Dixon who is planning to go. worlds website
